Soccer

We had a bit of a false start on week one of MSI soccer. We arrived in the sunshine all excited to start this fun chapter and took a pic to mark the occasion…

only to have Harper get psyched out pretty early on and come off the field in tears.

After a good deal of build up for week two “Mama, Mateo is coming and he might be shy so I’m going to have to show him what we do,” our confident girl re-emerged and had a blast! And we are off and running (quite literally) on our first spring sports season.

Sweet bedtime moments

We’ve had a chaotic week with snow days and routines turned upside down and training Elsabe. The kids have been flipping from sheer excitement and glee (“Snow!!”) to epic meltdown on a dime. 

Then I turned around in Harper’s room the other night and found her singing like this to Roycie.  It felt like a magical moment.
