Several weeks ago, we got to spend a morning with the Reynolds family - good friends' of Wendy's - as they were passing through DC en route back to South Africa. What we didn't know was that they had with them a full bag of gifts for Harper from Darren's family, transported with love all the way from SA. They had carried it around with them on their stops in New York and Florida before delivering it to us on their outbound layover. Have you ever heard of a nicer gesture, from everyone involved in this secret mission?!

The love poured out of the seemingly bottomless bag when we opened it - beautiful clothes, bibs, safari-themed toys, and three impeccable treasures, hand-made by Harper's Great Granny. Such love!! Thank you, thank you to our South African family and to the Reynolds!
