We had the most soul-warming, heart-filling time with the Ray and Quinn clans on Sunday.

We pulled up in Chaddsford PA and were promptly met by this welcome sign:

The kids descended on Harper and literally tended to her every beckon call from the moment we walked into the house, showering her with gifts, giggles, and "Jerry" the Giraffe (a family relic from the 60s!).

Grambie showered everyone with amazing toys, which led to and hour of kite flying in the yard...

All in all, the suburbs put on a seriously good show. It's shocking that I was actually able to lure Darren and his country truck away from the rolling hills, babbling brook, and great green expanses. Not to mention some fantastic company.

Such a special day with such special people in our lives. We are family, indeed. Thank you Rays! We'll be back soon!
